The very first suggestion that FSOL were headed in different directions, We Have Explosive Part 3 can be seen as the first step towards The Isness. The track is a slow, funky number with a number of funky bass and guitar samples. Around the 4:25 mark you can hear a sample from the latter two parts of the EP, lending an unusually cohesive nature to the varied EP.
