Notes:
An eight minute drum'n'bass track from 1997, this piece features several organs, guitars, vocals and synths that feature on the final version of Mello Hippo: this was, in many ways, the first version of the song. The track premiered in 1997's Peel Session and featured later as part of the Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind show. Heavily cut down, a three minute version of the track appears on the Mello Hippo EP from 2002. The piece is less impessive in its edited form, but it's interesting to hear the origins of the track, and the eight minute full-length version can be found on the above shows.
