Amorphous
Androgynous - The World Is Full Of Plankton (Demo) (05:26)
Unreleased
Lyrics:
Look at the world
See them laughing at me now
Can they see that I'm all at sea again
Silly little fish me I drank the sea again
Trying to breathe through the lovers' gills again
Trying to lie to my soul again
Well silly little me
Silly little me
Silly little me
Silly little me
Funny little moles beyond the gaping holes
Just like the sharks on the trampoline in the ????
The dolphins clap their flippers at the men ??????
Gasping for life
Fish like ??????? begging bowels
How are they supposed to know?
Infatuated by the mirage of the translucent movie show
How are they supposed to know?
Guilded by the sunlight casting silver on the screen
There is no purpose to your life on Earth
You're insignificant
You're insignificant
You're insignificant
Yes you're magnicifcent
But you're insignificant
Yes you're magnificent
But you're insignificant
So now I have your attention at least a while
While most of the audience have left, the rest insanely smile
It's time to tell you what's been haunting me
So here goes, roll out the prose
From the sell-out blockbusting real life show
I've no doubt that deep down everyone knows
I've no doubt that deep down everyone knows
I've no doubt that deep down everyone knows
I've no doubt what comes invariably goes
Notes:
A demo of The World Is Full Of Plankton that appeared on the internet in 2006.
This version is far more minimal and thus more repetitive/droning
than the final version, simply being based around the main synth
riff, acoustic guitar and drums. There are a lot more lyrics than
the Alice In Ultraland version. It also features an unusual
noisey guitar solo before the final verse.
