Lyrics:
Love is the lover
Love is the lover
Notes:
The track was first heard on 18th August 2001, during Gaz's DJ
set at the Big Chill festival. The version played was the Future
Sound Of London one which can be found on Translations. An edit
of this, largely cutting down on the extended intro, appeared on
The Isness the following year. An exclusive edit, based around
the first few minutes, can be found on the Papua New Guinea
Translations promo. The eastern-tinged funk of the piece has
little to do with Papua New Guinea (the piece it is intended to
be a remix of), other than the bassline which also appears in the
Papsico remix Papua. Apparently Gaz spent 'eight
hours' cutting up and mixing the guitar solo from a jam with
Stinky Rowe. Another exclusive edit of the track appeared on the
band's MySpace page in 2006.
