Written by Amorphous Androgynous. Recorded at the Analogue Room - London. Engineered by Yage. Produced by Philip Pin. Directed by F.S.O.L. Reworked at Earthbeat Studios - London. Quite why the album was not recorded and produced at Earthbeat by Dougans and Cobain is unknown.
The album was released on Quigley Records, FSOL's short-lived stem of Virgin.
After signing to Virgin, Dougans and Cobain released an album as a teaser for the direction they were heading in, under their newly formed Amorphous Androgynous name. The album is a direct mix of the beat-based techno from Accelerator, and the environmental ambience of Lifeforms. Rumours exist of the album being 'outtakes' from Lifeforms, although there is little to evidence to suggest this, with the 1992 Kiss FM test transmissions previewing much of the album, thus suggesting it was recorded before much of Lifeforms had begun. Buggy G. Riphead artwork, for the first time including photographs and sophisticated graphic textures.
