The most menacing track on Lifeforms, time hasn't treated Spineless Jelly as well as the rest of the album, but its relentless pulsing synths and cold beat still sound positively evil in their own way. The title is one of many phrases the band came out with whilst holed away in their studio recording the album. Gaz explains:
"[a] weak willed person - term used for Pinn periodically"
