When Jumpin' & Pumpin' planned to re-release Papua New Guinea in 2001 backed with trance mixes by Satoshi Tomiie and Hybrid, FSOL would only let the remix go ahead if backed by mixes of their choice. One of these is the blissful, chilled Blue States version, with strings and acoustic guitar which could almost have come from the later-era FSOL themselves. An edit appears on the single, whilst the full version was used on the Accelerator bonus disc Papua New Guinea Mix Anthology.
