Humanoid Peel
Session - November, 1988
Information
A three track Peel Session from 'Humanoid' in 1990. This is the
first instance of a FSOL-related radio show (but actually
pre-recorded, as with most Peel Sessions, and of course Dougans
was the only one involved in the music). The music is basic
techno/house, although it sounds a little more advanced than the
slightly earlier Humanoid material. The tracks are seperate and
not mixed together, and probably played throughout the John Peel
show (like most Peel Sessions). The version of Slam is quite
different to the studio one. It is more techno sounding, with
only some of the female vocals and the bass and 808 squelches
remaining. Jet Stream Tokyo is very similar to the album version,
only very much extended.
