Lyrics:
She's hiding from the yo-yo
It's a real no no
Life with Jo-Jo
A real no no no
He's feeling kind of low low
Thinks her life is go go
But it's so so slow
He's screaming for the dodo
He's a real pro
He'll stop and say hello
Sells electric ego
Slo-mo on the dildo
Life's a flow flow flow
But does he know know know?
Where did it go?
Oh no you're trying to make inpermanent things
Oh no you're trying to make inpermanent things
Oh no you're trying to make inpermanent things
La la lala la la la lala la laa
La la lala la la la lala la laa
La la lala la la la lala la laa
La la lala la la la lala la laa
Mumbo jumbo slow fellatio
Mumbo jumbo slow fellatio
Mumbo jumbo slow fellatio
Mello Hippo Disco Show!
Life's a flow flow flow
Life's a flow flow flow
Life's a flow flow flow
Life's a flow flow flow
Notes:
The more psychedelic of the two versions of The
Mello Hippo Disco Show,
the more subtle Abbey Road version features a quirky organ solo
in the middle, as featured in the initial track, Trying To
Make Inpermanent Things Permanent, as well as a humorous cacophony of noise after
the chorus. The track later appeared in two official released:
firstly, Life's A Flow on the Mello Hippo EP, and Yo-Yo (Abbey
Road Version) on The Otherness, whilst a quite different, more
proggy mix of the song was released on The Isness as Mello Hippo.
Very slight differences between the versions: the mix on The
Otherness seques into Goodbye Sky, whilst the one on the Abbey
Road Isness segues into Goodbye Sky (Reprise). The beginning of
the EP version is part of a segue from The World's In Transience.
The track was featured on the band's 'Psychedelic Manifesto' EPK
video from 2001.
