Notes:
Features guest samples and music from Ozric Tentacles, Robert
Fripp, Talvin Singh and Toni Halliday.
FSOL's organic ambient masterpiece and major label debut,
"Lifeforms" is probably their most all-round successful
album. With the 4/4 techno absent, and the more fractured rhythms
low in the mix, the album focusses on melody, texture and mood.
The album continues along the lines of Tales Of Ephidrina,
furthering the use of field samples and environments to mix the
discs into seamless journies. The artwork again advances, with
more photos and advanced CG than before, directed by Buggy G.
Riphead and FSOL. The cover features the first appearance of the
"witch girl", Shaueen Ta, and the inner gatefold spread
shows Shaueen and the first album appearance of the Electronic
Brain "spike" creature, as modelled by Olaf Wendt.

UK album charts: number 6.
