The second piece of music housed in Dead Cities track 9 (following on from Quagmire), In A State Of Permanent Abyss is based on a lost recording of Max Richter's called Ripple. The piece is a simple gurgly synth track, very pretty and a bizarre contrast to the previous frantic drum'n'bass.
