Containing material from the then-scrapped Environments album, Tired must be one of FSOL's most abstract pieces of music; a collage of sound effects, short melodic interludes, found sounds and field recordings, occasional drum loops and the odd recognisable instrument. Beginning and ending with unconnected structured elements, the centre and main section of the piece is entirely based around creating an alien atmosphere, sounding like something from a fantasy film, with horses and alien noises (that later appeared on Environments Part 2). The piece also contains a number of sounds from Lifeforms closer Little Brother.
