An Amorphous track in the funk/blues vein, slide guitars and harmonica battle against a funky distorted organ. First heard on the 2nd May 2004 SixMix broadcast. The piece is named after the harmonica player Billy 'the Onion' Jones. Gaz explains: "grooving on the gig by the reformed Magic Band the previous week which had featured their very own Gary Lucas on guitar (Captain Beefheart, Jeff Buckley) - those swamping harmonica fulled blues had worked their magic into the Amorphous membrane - when Billy 'The Onion' Jones turned up in a pub in Swindon with a harmonica the perfect excuse was born to release the itch caused by the Captain's reformed band - Gary Lucas layered down some gloriously wicked bottleneck stomp, Billy obligingly blew a huge harmonica riff all over it and the FSOL production gizmo set to work to create a sonic swampson of Delta proportion!!"
