"I'm very sorry to have to announce this but unfortunately Amorphous Androgynous will now not be appearing at Coachella. Commitments to trying to get the next record finished have meant that they will be unable to properly prepare for the festival. The Russian date I believe is unaffected by this.

I can only pass on sincere apologies to all those who have already bought tickets to Coachella to see them. I hope that there's still enough at the festival for you to make it worthwhile."

"Nothing was posted on here before Golden Voice (the promoters of Coachella) confirmed their appearance themselves. This decision was not taken lightly and the band are upset and annoyed that they've had to do this."

It appears the festival promoter had confirmed the band's appearance before the band themselves had, causing this mixup.
