Following the completion of Safernoc, I was inspired to make up for the gap between album releases, and soldiered on with this thirty minute sound collage, mixing together snippets from my pre-Purlieu demos, an outtake from the Safernoc sessions, some newly recorded material and a number of external sources and samples, tying my older and newer sounds together. The piece seamlessly blends electronic ambience, acoustic guitar, spoken samples, field recordings and various other sounds into an unbroken journey. It was originally released by the lovely people from the Cyclene Records netlabel as a 192kbps MP3 release, and has since been re-released on my Bandcamp as a high quality MP3/lossless 'name your price' download.
